Byron Peasland

Chief Operating Officer

Byron Peasland is an international business leader and sustainability advocate with more than 20 years of experience working across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. His career has focused on helping organisations grow responsibly by combining innovation, technology, quality, and long-term impact.

He is currently Chief Operating Officer of Green Future Project Group, a Milan-based company developing ESG and sustainability and climate impact solutions that help businesses measure, improve, and communicate their environmental and social impact. His work today sits at the intersection of sustainability, technology, finance and systems transformation and spans across operations and projects on a global scale.

Before joining Green Future Project, Byron spent over 15 years with Intertek Group, one of the world’s leading quality assurance and certification companies, where he led businesses and multidisciplinary teams across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with industries ranging from energy and manufacturing to food, consumer products, and sustainability services, leading international growth projects, acquisitions, and innovation initiatives.

A dual British-Italian national, Byron holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. Beyond his professional role, he is passionate about the broader societal challenges linked to sustainability, healthy living, community resilience, and the transition toward more regenerative economic models. He is particularly interested in how business, science, and technology can work together to create healthier environments, stronger communities, and better long-term outcomes for both people and the planet.
