Lorenzo Palmeri Studio

Lorenzo Palmeri, architect and musician, with a second degree in Psychology, works in the field of design and is active across design, architecture, art direction, teaching, musical composition, and music production.
Among his mentors are Bruno Munari and Isao Hosoe, with whom he collaborated for several years.
He leads his multidisciplinary studio based in Milan and has designed many different things: homes, guitars, lamps, vases, tables, exhibitions, books, a school, two bottles, a piano… and even a chocolate.
He has been involved in teaching since 1997, lecturing at some of the most renowned national and international design schools.
In the music field, he has composed soundtracks for theatre and installations and has released four albums of original compositions.
He has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
His projects have won or been shortlisted for major national and international awards (Good Design Award, IF Award, Compasso d’Oro, Dezeen longlisted).
In 2017 he was named one of the “Ambassadors of Italian Design” for the Italian Design Day. In 2023 he founded DesignMind, a nomadic and experimental school, and in the same year a book on his work and thinking was published: Disperazione progettuale. Dialoghi per una piccola epica del design (Alessandro Biamonti, Franco Angeli Editore, Design e Architettura series).
