

Sara Robin

Sara Robin is a German filmmaker based in Boston. Her work explores human connection, often through the lens of future worlds. She loves telling stories at the intersection of documentary and science-fiction.
Her first feature documentary Your Attention Please premiered at SXSW 2026 to immediate critical and audience acclaim. The film follows the cultural pushback against the Attention Economy, and features leading voices including Kristin Bride, Tristan Harris, Frances Haugen, and Vivek Murthy.
Sara is the winner of the 2023 HollyShorts screenwriting contest with her sci-fi script Switch that takes a darkly humorous look at virtual relationships.
Her undocumented coming-of-age short film Cranberry Nights has screened in dozens of festivals over the past two years, including Holly Shorts and SCAD Savannah.
Alongside her independent work, Sara directs and produces commercials for clients including Nike, Jordan, and Netflix. She holds an MFA in Film Production from Boston University, for which she has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship.
