Anja Leissner

Anja Leissner is a Swedish food tech entrepreneur and biotechnologist with a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Lund University. She is CEO of Spring Food System and was previously co-Founder and Head of R&D at Stockeld Dreamery, a plant-based dairy innovation company. She has been recognized as a leading voice in alternative proteins and sustainable food systems, serving as a mentor at startup accelerators including Rockstart and Techstars, and as an expert adviser at the Nexus AI Accelerator at the University of Helsinki. She is a member of the byFounders Collective and an adviser to Marvelous Deeptech Fund and the Norrsken Foundation. Her work bridges food science, sustainability, and systems-level innovation to redesign how the world produces and consumes protein.
