Daniela Ibarra-Howell is a global leader in regenerative agriculture, working at the intersection of Nature, capital, and systems change. An Argentine agronomist with over 30 years of international experience in grasslands restoration, Daniela co-founded the Savory Institute in 2009 and served as its CEO for more than fifteen years, building a worldwide network of entrepreneurial Hubs advancing Holistic Management and launching Land to Market, the first outcomes-based regenerative sourcing platform, anchored in Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) - helping connect brands, producers, and investors through verified landscape health and social outcomes.
Today, Daniela chairs the Savory Foundation in Europe, where she focuses on mobilizing institutional and concessional capital to restore landscapes, strengthen rural livelihoods, and reposition regenerative agriculture as a commercially investable asset class. Her work bridges science, land stewardship, and finance—designing innovative models that align ecological outcomes with economic returns.
Known for her grounded leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, Daniela brings deep field experience across cultures and continents, combined with strategic expertise in negotiation, governance, and partnership building. She advises multiple boards and global initiatives and is a passionate advocate for women, relational leadership, and investing in living systems.
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Daniela believes lasting transformation begins with reconnecting people to place, and capital to Nature.
