David Bassani

Founding Partner

David is the founding partner of Maia Ventures, a seed fund focused on agrifoodtech investments. Prior to that, David was a partner at ZX Ventures, ABInBev's corporate venture capital, where he invested in agrifoodtech innovation at different stages of maturity.

Previously, he worked for several years in strategic consulting, first in Spain and then in South America, focusing on projects in industries such as packaging, F&B, financial services, advertising, and travelling.

David holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University, a MSc in International Management from ESADE, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. He speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
