Ira Haraldsen

Lead, Cognitive Health Research Group

Dr. Ira Ronit Hebold Haraldsen, MD, PhD, is a specialist in Neurology and Psychiatry and the principal investigator of AI-Mind (project No. 964220), a 14 million Euro Research and Innovation Action funded under Horizon 2020. She leads the Cognitive Health Research Group (CoHR) at Oslo University Hospital. The group has published more than 60 papers in the last three years and supervised more than 10 PhD theses. Her research spans neuroendocrinology, neurobiology of ageing, and translational innovation project management, with a current focus on AI-based digital tools for early dementia screening and the development of functional electrophysiological biomarkers of neurodegeneration.
