Luca Tesauro

Founder & Chairman

With over twenty-five years of managerial experience, he operates across the creative, cultural and tourism industries. From 2004 to 2014 he served as Communication Manager of the Giffoni Film Festival, leading global business development strategies, building partnerships with national and international companies and institutions, and creating the first innovation department within an Italian festival.

In 2015 he founded Giffoni Innovation Hub srl, where he serves as CEO and President of the Board. He has developed projects with institutions and multinational companies. The same year he launched the Giffoni Dream Team, an open innovation training workshop for students aged 18–28 aimed at designing products and solutions to improve the lives of children, young people and families. He has also created educational programs for children (3–12) focused on coding, videogames, artificial intelligence and the responsible use of technology.

Since 2017 he has been a member and pledger of the European Commission’s Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition. In 2018 he received the “Dalla parte dei Bambini” award from Telefono Azzurro for his commitment to children through Giffoni Experience projects. In 2019 he was awarded the Innovation Award by Rome Business School and founded the association “Giffoni for Kids,” serving as Chairman.

Since October 2020 he has been founding curator of the Global Shapers Naples Hub, part of the World Economic Forum network. In 2021 he joined the Board of Demetra Holding. In 2022 he was listed among the 100 innovators making a difference in Italy by StartupItalia. In 2023 he became evangelist of SEIUNISA and joined the Board of ATLAS (Transatlantic Startup Association).

Over the years he has built a strong international network connecting institutions, corporations, governments, foundations, universities and incubators, bridging young talent with startups and established organizations to foster innovation and social impact.
