Mario Clerici

Full Professor

Mario (Mago) Clerici M.D., Ph.D. graduated at the University of Milano and trained for more than 7 years at the NIH in Bethesda, USA. He is a full professor of Immunology and Immunopathology at the University of Milano and the Scientific Coordinator of the SM Nascente (Don C Gnocchi) Research Hospital in Milano. He directed different University Departments and currently heads the PhD School in Translational Medicine. He authored more than 800 papers, has been awarded National and International prizes, is a knight of the Italian Republic, an honorary citizen of New Orleans, a Highly Ranked Scholar- Lifetime (Scholar GPS), a member of Academia Europaea and a one of the most cited Italian scientists worldwide.
