Peter Kruger is a tech-entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, with a focus on AI and agrifood-tech. He currently serves as Venture Partner at Big Idea Ventures, holds CEO roles at eZecute and Startupbootcamp FoodTech. He is the founder of Botscanner, AutoBench, and Roma Startup, the ecosystem association that promotes the development of the Italian startup scene. He currently chairs Agrifood-Tech Italia, the Italian agrifood startup ecosystem association. With 25 years of experience in the IT and digital sectors, Mr. Kruger has held executive management, board member, and CEO positions with companies including RAI, Kataweb, Tiscali, Postecom, and Terra News. His investment portfolio includes over 30 startups in the agrifood-tech and artificial intelligence domains. In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, he provides consulting, advisory, and board services to investment funds and government organisations. Mr. Kruger holds a Master of Science degree in Theoretical Physics, with a dissertation focused on neural networks, combining a robust technological foundation with extensive business and financial acumen. He also contributes as a business angel, mentor, and public speaker.
