Alessandra Gelera

President

Alessandra Gelera has been President of Cluster ALISEI—Italy's national technology cluster for life sciences—since April 2025. She holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences and a postgraduate Master's in Health Economics, and brings nearly 20 years of experience in the life sciences sector. She is currently Head of Public Affairs, Health Economics & Market Access at Boston Scientific Italy, a global leader in medical devices. She is also the Coordinator of the Life Sciences Division of Assolombarda and represents Assolombarda in Confindustria's Life Sciences Technical Group. As President of ALISEI, her strategic priorities include knowledge generation, innovation, sustainability, and strengthening the cluster's international attractiveness, with a focus on PNRR-funded projects and public-private collaboration.
