Camilla Buttà
Sustainability & Communication Manager
Vector spa società benefit

Camilla Buttà is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Vector S.p.A., a benefit corporation operating in the international logistics and transport sector, where she is responsible for integrating environmental, social, and governance sustainability into the company’s business model and decision‑making processes. Her work focuses on transforming ESG principles into concrete strategic choices capable of generating long‑term value for the company, its people, and the communities it serves.
Before joining Vector, Camilla worked in the field of international cooperation, focusing on sustainable development and responsible tourism. These experiences played a key role in shaping her view of sustainability as a systemic and cultural process, deeply connected to equity, real impact, and shared responsibility.
In her current role, Camilla approaches sustainability not as a set of compliance requirements but as a driver of organizational transformation. Operating in a sector that is environmentally complex, she adopts a pragmatic approach grounded in continuous improvement, impact measurement, and the engagement of people across the entire value chain. She places particular emphasis on inclusion, organizational well‑being, and the appreciation of differences, which she considers essential elements for business resilience.
In 2023, she was recognized as an SDG Pioneer in the Small and Medium Enterprises category by the UN Global Compact Network Italy, winning the Italian round of the United Nations competition that celebrates leaders most committed to advancing the 2030 Agenda. The award highlighted her contribution to the sustainable transformation of an SME operating in a sector considered critical.
