He is a Senior Scientific Advisor at the CDI – Centro Diagnostico Italiano in Milan (2023–present) and formerly served as Deputy Scientific Director at Gemelli Molise (2019–2023). From 2019 to 2023, he was also President of the Italian Society of Regenerative Medicine (SIMCRI), contributing to the national development of multidisciplinary regenerative medicine.
A cardiac surgeon by training, he has combined clinical expertise with scientific leadership in regenerative medicine, serving in senior research and strategic roles across major Italian institutions. His work spans cardiac surgery, translational research, and the advancement of regenerative therapies, with a strong focus on scientific innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
