Associate Professor of Cell and Applied Biology

My current research focuses on elucidating the pathogenic mechanisms underlying immune-mediated disorders of the central nervous system. My expertise in cell biology and immunology supports extensive experience in the discovery, validation, and development of novel therapeutic strategies for inflammatory diseases. I actively address complex research challenges through collaborations within established international networks. I am co-author of more than 100 scientific publications, with 11,911 citations and an h-index of 50 (Scopus, March 2026).
