Peter Schmetz

Peter Schmetz joined Vorwerk Ventures in 2018 and experienced the company's development during its corporate venture capital stage, helping to relaunch Vorwerk Ventures as an independent fund entity in late 2019. Before joining Vorwerk Ventures, he worked in the Treasury Department of the Vorwerk Group in Wuppertal, primarily responsible for foreign currency management and liquidity management. At Vorwerk Ventures, he primarily focuses on everything around foodtech, which also includes health-related topics, with investments including Planted Foods and Farmless. He holds a BA in Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara and an MA in European Studies from Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
