Sergio Strozzi

Sergio Strozzi is a career diplomat who has served as Head of Innovation, Technology and Startups at Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation since September 2025. He holds a law degree from the University of Turin and a diploma in organ music and composition from the Conservatory of Alessandria. He has served in various roles for the Ministry since 2001, including Consul General in Vlorë (Albania) and as Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Italian Embassy in Budapest. He served as Consul General in San Francisco from 2020 to 2025, where he was instrumental in founding and developing INNOVIT—Italian Innovation and Culture Hub in Silicon Valley—and forging partnerships with major US technology companies, universities, and accelerators to promote Italian innovation internationally.
