Stefania Lenoci

Stefania Lenoci is the World Bank Group's Resident Representative in Italy and Special Representative to Southern Europe, the Holy See, and the United Nations Rome-based Agencies. Based in Rome, she leads the WBG's External and Corporate Relations function across Southern Europe, overseeing engagement with Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, and Cyprus. The Rome Office she heads serves as a Knowledge Hub for the Mediterranean and Sub-Saharan Africa. She previously served as a Programme Specialist at UNESCO and held senior roles at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), including Senior Advisor to the President. She holds degrees in International Relations from the University of Trieste and an MSc in Sustainable Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
