Tiziana Borsello

Full Professor

Tiziana Borsello is Full Professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Milan and an internationally recognized leader in neuroprotection and neurodegenerative diseases. Trained in neuroscience at the University of Turin, she completed her postdoctoral work at the CNR under Nobel Laureate Rita Levi-Montalcini and held academic positions at the University of Lausanne. She is the main founder of PepTiDa srl, a University of Milan spin-off advancing SIMBA2 toward clinical application. Her work has earned major awards, including the Pfizer Foundation Prize and the ITWIIN Award for innovation and technology transfer.
